Each treatment is designed specifically to meet the individual needs of her patients. Most treatments begin with Pulse Diagnosis and a thorough discussion of health history. In the Acupuncture treatment Janet will incorporate modalities such as: Myofascial Release, Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT), Trigger Point release, Cupping, Gua Sha (scraping) and herbal prescriptions to relieve pain and heal internal disorders.
Acupuncture Wellness, LLC is located at 1726 North Killingsworth street in North Portland right near interstate and I5, (directly next to the Lucky Lab Pub). The office is in an old Victorian house and has a beautiful, quiet, spa-like atmosphere, with gentle music, filtered water, tea, heat lamps, heat packs, cushioned Acupuncture tables and spacious private treatment rooms. Unlike many of the Portland Acupuncture Clinics, at Acupuncture Wellness, you get the time necessary to rest and heal. It is not uncommon to be in treatment for 1.5 to 2 hours. Janet is very accessible in off hours for questions or comments as well.
